Over $300 million in funding, 80 awards won and 11 acquisitions for all of its companies. With such success of Project Olympus should it have an image to match? As a member of the Project Olympus community I wanted to help refresh the image of Carnegie Mellon University’s terrific incubator program. And it happened to be the 10th anniversary of Project Olympus, which would be a great time to unveil a new image for the next ten years and beyond! I wanted to make sure to incorporate many of the same ideas behind the original image including talent, network and community.
The first step in rebranding was to audit the existing brand. Looking at colors, shape, line weights and usage to name a few. Above are the logo variants that we found being used.
